Shri Amar Singh Rathore was the first State Election Commissioner of Rajasthan, who assumed office in July 1994.

According to the Constitution, the next delimitation of Lok Sabha and Assembly seats will be based on the data of the first census conducted after 2026, which is likely to be the 2031 Census. Currently, delimitation is based on the 2001 Census.
